This 1933 Ford Hotrod Pickup was built for a very special person, the late Lester Kochenower of Kingfisher, Ok. Lester started the project and when it became apparent that his health would not let him continue, his kids Greg, Dianna and Robert asked if we would help with the truck. Les was involved in the project the entire time of the build. He told us his vision for how he wanted the truck to look, low with wide rear tires, no air conditioning or radio (he only wanted to hear the sound of the motor), and it needed to get up and move, stating ” I want it to light the tires in all four gears”. The look on Lester’s face when we delivered the truck said it all. All the paint and body work was performed by Jerred Epperson with Dan Epperson handling all the frame modifications, suspension, drive components, mechanics, plumbing and electrical. Special thanks to Mike Anderson of Anderson’s Upholstery, Kerrville, TX.
